Dave’s Dad was reminiscing about old times and having a sweet conversation with his Girlfriend… here’s how it went:

Dave’s Girlfriend: How are you feeling?

Dave’s Dad: It appears I’ve finally reached my Wonder Years.

Dave’s Girlfriend: That’s so sweet.

Dave’s Dad: Wonder where I left my keys.

Wonder where I parked my car.

Wonder where my phone is.

Wonder what day it is.

And on a really good day…

Wonder how the heck I got home.

I was watching game 7 of the finals earlier this week, and it made me think of this…

There aren’t many people I know that don’t enjoy a game.

Video game (Pac-Man still my game of choice)

Baseball

Tennis

Chess

Backgammon

Hockey

Football

Poker

Basketball

Etc…

They’re all games and if you’re playing the right one for you… they’re FUN.

In any game there are 5 things:

1. Rules

2. Strategy

3. Winners

4. Losers

5. A SCOREBOARD

Strategy is critical, but execution is PARAMOUNT.

What good is it if you call the right play, your guy gets open, the ball lands in his hands… but he misses the last-second shot.

*Shai Gilgeous-Alexander clearly doesn’t have this problem*

There is no sport in the world where you play and do not regularly look at the scoreboard.

Players and spectators.

Question…

What does your scoreboard look like?

Are you able to read it?

Are your clients able to read it?

If you want to enter the “2% Business Club”….

… Create your SCOREBOARD.

Or not.
