Day 1293: Increase. Your. Vibe

Yesterday I told you why you like your high-end waiter even though he acts like he’s better than you, as well as why My Drunk Aunt said her new car has too many gadgets.

Speaking of her reversing, and it started playing a video of somebody getting run over by a car with muffled screams…

My friend Bill has a new fascination with green tea and here’s our conversation about it:

Me: What’s the deal with the green tea?

Bill: My wife is always entertaining, and green tea works great.

Me: How so?

Bill: Here’s what happens:

  1. You look posh.
  2. You save money on milk.
  3. You don’t need to serve biscuits.
  4. They don’t ask for more.
  5. They don’t come back.

‘Maximizing your VIBE’

Yesterday I was explaining why your waiter at the high-end steakhouse walks around like he’s a higher class than you.

And you like it.

Here are 5 steps to having a higher ‘Vibe Factor’.

Is that a thing..?

  1. Audience.

Approach them like you’re writing / speaking to a specific person, and your goal is to appeal to them on an emotional level.

Do you think it’s a coincidence Tony Robbins repeats the SAME STORIES over and over again?

When they read / hear your story they’re either thinking “Me too” or “Who Cares.”

  1. Experience.

You should write and speak from a place of experience.

Tony Robbins’ stories come from clients he’s worked with…

… personal experience and experiences through clients (often famous and that’s not an accident – higher status).

  1. Value.

You should be adding value to your prospect’s life whether they buy from you or not.

Huge mistake is a coaches website video and bio… the entire thing is a sales pitch on how wonderful and experienced the coach is (me, me, me).

Lame.

 Always add value, value, value.

  1. Stand Against.

Don’t sing Kumbaya and talk about how wonderful the world is…

… stand against a narrative, philosophy, strategy, tactic etc…

Example:

“Multiple Streams of Income” are taught by people without multiple streams of income 90% of the time. Bezos and the other greats… dialed in on ONE stream of income.

“We need to get everyone on the same page” is usually ridiculous…. communication is often the handbrake of a growing company.

“Do what you love”… is a good way to start hating what you currently love and advice heard from a successful 70 year old who made their fortune trading steel.

Do what you’re good at.

I could go on…

Now do all of this in a non-needy way.

Like the waiter that walks around like he’s a higher class than the diners.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
