Yesterday I was explaining how people that like camping are attracted to other people who like camping as well as how John’s wife came running in excitedly screaming that she won the lottery and told John to pack his bags.

Speaking of him asking if he should pack beachwear or mountain wear, and she said I don’t care just to get out…

I couldn’t sleep so I called Dave late at night, and here’s how our conversation went:

Me: What are you doing?

Dangerous Dave: Long day, we’re tired… I’m away camping with my uncircumcised friend, and he didn’t even bring a sleeping bag?!?

He’s going to be freezing tonight.

OH MY GOD….

WAIT…!

What the hell is he doing?!?

Me:

I was watching Rodgers and the Steelers dominate on Monday Night Football and here are some random and other not so random thoughts I had for you.

1. Your path is more difficult because your calling is higher.
2. Don’t live for your presence to be noticed but your absence to be felt. ~ Bob Marley
3. Buying a new car for that “new car smell” is idiotic. Three of them could be the cottage on the lake for your retirement.
4. Stop trying to find the right person… become the right person. The sky is not your limit… your belief system is your limit
5. More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren’t so busy denying them
6. The best coaches tell you where to look but not what to see
7. Do not underestimate the difficulty of getting people out of their comfort zones
8. When your emotions go up… your intelligence goes down
9. Babe Ruth told us, the loudest boos come from the cheapest seats. People who invest the least in you will have the most to say about you.
10. Your new life is going to cost you your old one.
11. There are a lot of things you can’t control… how hard you work today and how many people you help is not one of them.
12. Nobody stands in line for a flat roller coaster. Enjoy life’s ups and downs.
13. How many ‘average people’ with ‘monster success stories’ do you need to see and hear… before you start creating your own?
