Godson: I’ve finally decided what I want to study in college.

Me: What did you decide on?

Godson: Rodents. Burrowing rodents.

Me: *deep thought* Interesting and not what I was expecting… large field with lots of opportunities and AI proof for a long time.

Godson: *leans in deadly serious* So should I gopher it or not?

Me:

Me: *bursting with pride*

The legendary Warren Buffett stood aside as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway after 60 years and at the ripe old age of 95.

I’ve studied him and Charlie Munger for years (recommended reading is the book Letters to Shareholders as well as University of Berkshire Hathaway) and an amazing quote is:

“Never underestimate a man that overestimates himself.” Charlie Munger on Elon Musk

Translation: Overestimate yourself.

It’s a skill that can be improved wildly over a reasonably short period of time.

Think of it as hypnotizing yourself.

The way you SPEAK is the way you think.

Speak BIG to yourself.

Help your clients do the same.

How can you start?

Start by setting a BIG goal and intention.

Speak it into existence.

“You’re getting sleepy…”

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
