Risky Business turned Ray-Ban Wayfarers into the number one selling sunglasses of all time.
Top Gun increased applications 100X for the Air Force and aviator sunglasses couldn’t be kept in stock.
Fight Club created real life fight clubs.
Fast Times at Ridgmont High and Jeff Spicoli took Vans from a company no one had heard of to a $3 billion-dollar brand today.
Here’s my point…
It’s not The Netflix Effect…
,,, it’s the Storytelling Effect.
The new found interest in chess has everything to do with:
– An inspirational story
– An amazing lead character
– Conflict (every story needs conflict)
– A sport that includes intelligence, grace and sophistication
Where am I going here?
