Day 136: Why Bloomberg Dropped Out 

Yesterday I was explaining what Neutron Jack used as a driving force to get people to accomplish more than they dreamed possible.

Speaking of dreaming, Michael Bloomberg dropped out of the race yesterday… I think he would have done a great job representing the democrats.

*whispers softly with cringe* He spent $500 million in 90 days and only won ‘American Samoa’. I didn’t even know ‘American Samoa’ was a thing.

Anyhoo…

Today’s lesson is why MB is dusting himself off after a forgettable and very expensive 90-day experiment.

Would you rather have an accident riding a tricycle or flying in a fighter jet?

If Michael Bloomberg had come in a year earlier, built up credibility both with his peers and the voting public at a reasonable pace…

… then hit fighter jet speed with advertising, meme’s and billboards he’d be the nominee by a landslide.

He came in late like a bull in a china shop… spent hundreds of millions in a matter of days and then waved a white flag. 

It felt like something was a little ‘off’ the whole time.

It was simply too much too quick.

He also got eaten alive on the ole debate stage, I literally thought Elizabeth Warren might eat him…

… But I digress.

In my early thirties, I was on a mission and built my first business coaching company to multiple millions in record time.

I had multiple hundreds of thousands hit my bank account in a single day. Had more leads than we could ever properly follow up with. More live events happening then I could keep track of.    

I had to deal with a lot of ‘accidents’.

 More ‘fighter jet-like’ than a tricycle.

My speed created pain.

Uber operated in San Francisco for 20 months prior to expanding.

Twitter grew at a snails pace for two years while they built a foundation.

Facebook started at Harvard and targeted University students prior to taking off. 

How is ‘We Work’ going again… I can’t remember?
