So yesterday, on Christmas, my 11 year old daughters quote was posted multiple times in multiple places (THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO POSTED IT. MADE HER DAY) which was one of those moments when it all feels worth it as well as what happens when My Drunk Aunt drops a cookie on the floor.

Speaking of counting that as a squat…

My nephew is a handful… his Grandpa passed away a short time ago and here is his conversation with his Mom on Christmas:

His Mom: I wish Grandpa was here to be with us on Christmas.

Nephew: Grandpa was a wise man.

His Mom: He sure was.

Nephew: I’ll never forget his last words.

Hi Mom: What were they…?

Nephew: Don’t shake the ladder you little sh*t.

*silence*

It’s well documented that establishing BIG GOALS is significantly more impactful than stuff that would resemble 20% gains.

Write down ONE BIG THING you’ll accomplish in the next 365 days. Write it down every AM as first activity… write it down at lunch time (set a timer) and write it down again before bed.

REALLY MEAN IT and buy into it as you write it down.

Might not work but surely couldn’t hurt your chances..?

Invest Rather Than Consume.

Buy (your kids) Apple stock rather than ANOTHER new iPhone.

Buy Louis Vuitton stock rather than ANOTHER overpriced handbag.

Buy Nike stock rather than ANOTHER pair of shoes.

Buy Amazon stock rather than getting ANOTHER amazon delivery.

Buy Nvidia stock rather than getting ANOTHER gaming device.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
