I wrote the above quote about waiting staff to enforce something important about business.

Neediness is therefore your enemy, and you’re, quite possibly, accidently giving off that needy vibe.

They weren’t insanely nice and over-the-top accommodating.
Think of the most experienced waiter / waitresses…
They didn’t spend time at your table building a bunch of fake rapport.
Waiters in the highest-end restaurants walk around like they own the place.
They are higher status than the people sitting at the tables.
It’s their VIBE.
And you like it, but you often can’t quite work out what it is.
You just know you’re dealing with a professional, and there’s an intangible that makes them attractive.
Question…
Are you trying to build rapport and being ‘accommodating’ or are you posting, commenting, and speaking like you’re higher status than your prospects?
Stop being so timid, nice, and accommodating.
It’s embarrassing.
