Me: Why you look so flustered?
My Drunk Aunt: I’m looking after my friend’s dog while they’re away… decided to take him for a walk on the beach.
Me: The dog would have loved the beach.
My Drunk Aunt: Well, he loves to run, and you need to call his name for five minutes to get him to come.
Me: Sounds painful.
My Drunk Aunt: Ya but that wasn’t the issue… the dog’s name is Shark.

Your one PROFIT ACCELERATION THING today is:
‘Contrast’
Your client’s perception of price is 100% relative and can easily be influenced.
The problem is your high-end coaching client has spent zero time over the last 36 months considering how they can alter the perception of ‘their thing’.
Instead, they discount their prices, crush their margins and get surprised when they’re not getting anywhere.
Think of contrast this way:
‘There’s the thing… and there’s the PERCEPTION of the thing.’
Translation: ‘Value is subjective.’
Here are some examples:
Beer tastes better out of a tall slim bottle
Wine tastes better when the bottle is heavy
Sporting events have more energy when the stands are full (regardless of maximum capacity)
Music is better when it’s loud
Medicine is more effective when its expensive
A clean car drives better
A clean office helps you think clearly
The more exclusive the school and the more it costs… higher the perception of the degree
You have to put down a non-refundable deposit and then wait 18 months to get your new Lamborghini
Rolls Royce don’t attend car shows… they exhibit at Yacht and Aircraft shows where the onlookers can afford their cars
Ford is out in the suburbs with 100’s of trucks on display… Tesla is downtown with 4 cars in total and you need to order your car on a computer.
Apple presents their products like they’re $100,000 watches.
I used to run my business seminars in the Penthouse of one of the most expensive hotels in town.
