Day 1404: Seven. More. Olympic. Thoughts.
Last week we covered a lot of ground, including how when you’re selling your coaching you should approach it as bringing a gun to a knife fight, as well as how Dave’s girlfriend asked him to whisper dirty things in her ear.

I was chatting with Bill, Stu, Trish and Dave last night and here’s how the conversation went:
Dangerous Dave: What’s something a dentist can say that a gynecologist can’t?
Bill: I’ll soon have that out.

- Stop running when you should be fighting.
- You need to work on being a great teammate as much as you do being a great player.
*The best TEAM wins.
- A great coach will tell you where to look but not what to see.
- Losers focus on winners and winners focus on winning.
*Important that you clearly define what winning is for you. It’s easy in a game / event like hockey / skiing / bobsledding with clearly defined timeframes and outcomes… it’s very hard in relationships / business / life.
**Take time out of your day to create rules / timeframes / outcomes and define what winning is for you.
- Your life shrinks or expands depending on your level of courage.
- Look for reasons to advance… not retreat
- Your momentum is your force multiplier.
