It takes some discipline and that leads me to mention six tips I picked up from a great book called, Deep Work:
- Focus is a skill… practice practice practice.
- You must remove things that’ll DISTRACT you from your main thing.
- Deep work is KING. Most people are doing shallow work; their life, business, circumstances and results show it.
- Willpower has an expiration date. Schedule your day, week, month, quarter, year and rituals around the time when your willpower is highest and when it’s lowest.
- Your daily rituals are your foundation. They either maximize or minimize your creativity and focus.
- Multitasking doesn’t work for you or others. Hence, the name of the book, DEEP WORK.
