Last week we covered a lot of ground, including how you’re going to die, so you might as well try, as well as how Dave said he was unhinged at work, so I asked for an example. 

Speaking of dividing a stack of resumes into two piles, dramatically throwing one stack in the garbage and telling the staff, we can’t afford to work with unlucky people…

I was chatting with My Drunk Aunt and here’s how the conversation went: 

My Drunk Aunt: How are you doing? 

Me: Great. I just finished reading ‘This Little Piggy’ to my nephew. 

My Drunk Aunt: That’s sweet…. My favorite part of the story is when they go shopping. 

Me: *explains meaning behind going to the market*

My Drunk Aunt: I thought “this little piggy went to the market” meant he went shopping.

My Drunk Aunt: *I need a minute*

• Your death doesn’t make your life pointless… it makes your life purposeful.

  Tap into this energy before your blood test / your results and the days of waiting in between.

• Focus on solving the problem rather than reacting to it.

  Isolate one problem… come up with three solutions to it. 

• Obstacles are coming for you… doesn’t matter if they’re fair or unfair, they’re on the way.

  Your job is to keep your composure, not beat yourself up, and keep moving towards your clearly defined goal.

• Overcoming obstacles means… more obstacles are coming.

  You don’t become ‘successful’ and no longer have obstacles… you become successful and have MORE and BIGGER obstacles.

Sucks, I know.
