Yesterday I was explaining how a friend spent $30k to get a business degree… couldn’t find a job and then went with his GUT to spend another $50k on a Ph.D. so he can teach business at University.
He’s likely reading so I’ll try to be as gentle as I can.
THEY MIGHT WANT TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO TEACH THE DAMN KIDS, SPENDING THEIR PARENTS LIFE SAVINGS, BUSINESS!
Week long event
Earlier this week I mentioned I went for a weeklong event where a lot of heavyweight internet marketers hob-nobbed.
Lotsa invitation-only parties for the guys ‘in da club’ if you know what I mean.
There were also lots of marketers looking to soak it all in and get their message out there.
When the event starts you line up like cattle until it’s your turn to deliver your 30-second spiel and tell everyone what you do and what you’re looking for.
When it starts the rush to get to the front of the line is nothing short of pandemonium.
The masses obviously assume going first is an advantage.
Ummm not quite.
Today’s ONE THING is the reason I waited as long as possible to walk up to the microphone:
“Last Out… First Remembered.”
The folks that rushed to go first were first forgotten.
When doing a presentation do you place all your best content at the beginning or leave your gold nugget for the end?
There’s a reason rock bands sing their most popular song during the encore.
