Day 365: I’ll Do It Myself

Yesterday I was explaining how the highest achievers, in anything, are addicted to measurement.

Low-end achievers are addicted to avoiding measurement.

Speaking of addictions…

A neighbor of mine was addicted to brake fluid.

Says he can stop any time.

In other news…

Being consistently offended doesn’t mean that you’re right.

It means you’re too narcissistic to tolerate opinions different than your own.

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

“I need to do it myself.”

A hyper-independent coaching client is the result of trauma.

Statements like this from your high-end coaching client:

“It‘s best I just do it myself…”

“I don’t need anyone…”

“The best person to do it is me…”

“If I want something done properly, I do it myself…”

Really mean:

“I do not trust anyone because I have been let done consistently by people I trusted.”

Help them start to TRUST again.

Then often don’t take your initial appointment or cancel your agreement cause they don’t trust you.

Start by being the person they can TRUST.

Promise PLENTY…

Deliver MORE.
