Day 368: “Size”

Yesterday I gave you homework of ‘5 Bud Fox Shots’ every day, for a year.

Plus recited my favorite part of the movie prior to him going to jail.

Speaking of going to jail…

If you want to have kids, skip getting a dog and just hang out with drunk people.

Try to get them to drink water, to leave a bar… to go to sleep.

Help them pee, take away their phones, pull them off tables.

That’ll be a far better introduction than, Rover.

In other news…

Your fingers have fingertips but your toes don’t have toetips…

Yet you can tiptoe but not tip finger.

Hmmm…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘It’s Not All About the Size’

The goal of a business is sustained PROFITS….

Not size.

Problem is, if you look at their current strategy, they’re currently optimizing for SIZE.

Monster mistake.

I assume you and your high-end coaching clients don’t want to get rich for a month… you want to get rich for a lifetime.

The issue is that your client can’t sustain profits if they don’t know what is and isn’t working.

The solution looks like this:

Measure their progress and results

Identify what ACTIVITIES are causing those results

Improve those activities through reporting

Rinse and repeat

Insist they no longer except throwing darts at the wall, blind luck and ‘hope’ as a strategy.

MEASURE and REPORT.
