‘Elevating Your Status as a Coach’

Recently I answered a question on my podcast of how to elevate status and get credibility as a business coach.

My answer was a detailed one with many examples… but let me explain it this way.

Think of your favorite TV shows and then your favorite characters.

There are three primary ways you really connect with them:

The amount of time you spend watching them

The more you know about them

The more you can relate to them (situational and personality)

Therefore, a great way to gain STATUS with the market you’re trying to connect with… follow the same three steps.

Here’s how I do it:

I do a daily email and have done over 90 one-hour podcasts where I explain, in great detail, how to grow a successful business coaching practice.

I talk on areas where my deal clients are passionate and knowledgeable which are Business, Marketing, and Wealth.

Translation is lotsa time spent together.

I’m an open book and tell you, straight, how I feel and where I stand on all issues including those highly controversial

The most common email/comment I get is how people can relate to my early struggles and the challenge of riding “a business coaching rollercoaster” (leads, clients, lose clients, no leads, leads, clients, lose clients, no leads, leads… and up and down I went) while building my $5 million dollar Business Coaching Company where I used to do $400,000 in new high end coaching clients per month.

Coach, I have a question for YOU:

How are you elevating your status a la Chandler, Seinfeld and Axe with your target audience on the three points above?

If you’re not, you likely have no status.

You’ll know when you finally get there…

Because people will start finding you and reaching out with a variation of:
