Day 398: 10 Painful Truths

Over the weekend my 16-year-old Godson told me he was chasing a new girl…

He sent her some poetry on Friday which seemed a little out of character for an elite hockey player with alpha blood running through his veins.

Me: How did it go?

Godson: Not so good, she doesn’t like poetry.

Me: Doesn’t like poetry… What did your poem say?

Godson: ‘Roses are red… violets are blue….

The porn site is down…

Your Instagram will do.’

Me: *Stunned Silence*

Possibly a tear in my eye as I live vicariously.
