Day 463: More Uncomfortable Truths

Last week I finished up explaining some uncomfortable truths.

While on the topic of uncomfortable…

You can probably think back to high school and that certain someone unexpectedly came into your life… seemingly outta nowhere… made your heart race and changed you forever.

For me, this was a cop.

In other news…

You should always be more concerned with the quality of your circle than the number of people in it.

Anyhoo…

‘More Uncomfortable Truths’

You liked the uncomfortable truths so much I thought I’d create some more for you.

They can be insanely motivating…

Often more so than motivational-type quotes.

1. Stop feeling bad for outgrowing people who had the chance to grow with you.

2. You don’t need to be great to get started but you need to start to be great.

3. Daily consistent effort wins over talent. Translation: You didn’t lose cause they were taller, bigger, richer, luckier or more talented… you lost cause you didn’t put in the consistent daily effort.

4.  Judge your success by what you gave up to achieve it.

5. No is a complete sentence.

6. Donating money does less than donating your time.

7. You keep trying to make everyone else happy and that’s why you’re not happy. One of the greatest gifts you can give those around you… is to be happy.

8. You can’t heal cause you keep pretending you’re not hurt.

9. You’re never going to achieve perfection, but you try, and you suffer as a result.

10. The hardest things to find are hiding in plain sight.

11. You’re actions likely do not measure up against your words.

12. The time, RIGHT NOW, is the only time that matters… stop dwelling on the past and planning the future.

13. Your words are more important than your thoughts.

14. It’s 10% what happens to you… and 90% how you react to what happens to you.

15. For most of us… our greatest weakness is our greatest strength turned up too loud.

16. Your secret to happiness is your lasting relationships.

17. If you want to fly… you’ll need to give up what weighs you down.
