Day 477: Golf / Life Hack

Yesterday I was explaining how ‘More Customers’ as a starting point is often like entering a hot dog eating contest and thinking you’ll win Mr. Universe.

Speaking of winning…

Last night I went 10 pin bowling.

While renting my pink, baby blue, and purple size 13 bowling shoes on…

*See how I just did that?*

Got me thinking…

I’m no scientist, but has anyone tried killing the virus with the bowling alley shoe spray yet?

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘Golf’

If you want to get to know someone… play 18 holes of golf with them.

Insanely consistent, doesn’t matter if they’re good or bad, that they act the same on the course as they do in life.

Competitive, cheat, driven, in a hurry, lollygag, drink beer and tee off the beer cans on hole 18 (I don’t know anyone that has done this in case you’re asking), perfectionist, pissed off all the time, cry baby, happy go lucky, etc…

Weird, but the way you play golf is the way you play life.

It’s weird that guys I played hockey with when we were kids… their life reflects the way they played hockey.

Life hack:

Change the way you play golf (any sport)… change the way you live life.

Stated otherwise:

Change the way you do little things…. It’ll change the way you do BIG things.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
