Day 579: My Will Smith Opinion

Yesterday I was explaining how your clients are total hypocrites and how to help them combat that…

Speaking of combat, I went to the ear doctor, and here’s our conversation…

Me: I’m having problems with my hearing

Ear Doctor: Can you describe the symptoms?

Me: Marge has blue hair, Bart is totally out of control and Homer is the overweight Dad.

In other news…

Sometimes I just miss the way he said, China.

Anyhoo…

With clients, family, business relationships etc…

Will Smith doesn’t give a rat’s backside what I think…

But….

I’ve been asked over a hundred times so I’m going to deliver it here as your one

thing for the day.

And yes I realize you’re sick of hearing about it…

Me too but I think this has relevance.

First, I’d need all the facts prior to having an informed opinion.

Did Chris Rock know about her condition… the extent of?

Did Will Smith speak to him previously about this and say, her health was ‘no go’

territory.

Here’s my opinion on what Will Smith should have done rather than act out of anger.

Walk up and grab the mic.

“Chris, I know you have a job to do but that’s not cool, that’s my family, that’s my wife, the Mother of my children…

And she has a very real health condition.

That wasn’t funny, I didn’t appreciate it and our family didn’t appreciate it.

BTW my wife has a serious and very personal health condition and she’s still sitting right there owning it and still killing it in our family, our business and in her life.

That’s cool and should be celebrated… not made fun of.

Not everything is funny, Chris.

She’s sitting right there for you to apologize to her if you so choose.”

*Mic drop*
