Day 622: You’re Not Good Enough

 

Last week we covered a lot of ground including how to discover a 100 million dollar treasure and how you can find yours.

Speaking of wild discoveries…

I went in a floatation tank over the weekend and the manager was a little upset when I left…

They asked me to sign a waiver form and apparently it said:

“I will not voluntarily or involuntarily release bodily fluids into the floatation tank.”

Question:

If it was involuntary… how can I have promised I wouldn’t do it?

And why did he keep referencing the movie Caddyshack as I left.

In other news…

I’ve never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.

Anyhoo…

No doubt its obvious that I’m not a fan of cancel culture nor men competing against women in the Collegiate swimming race.

Possibly comes from my childhood…

I remember coming in third in a three person BMX race…

… they called me up and gave me a trophy.

My Dad mercilessly teased me about it for years.

Every girlfriend I brought over, he’d immediately ask, “Has he shown the trophy from

when he came third in the BMX race..?”

To this day he says:

“I remember your BMX racing days… that’s the sport where the parents line up to buy the trophies before it starts.”

LOL

*twitch*

Double anyhoo…

When I take the view of ‘The Entire Playing Field’ I see this:

We beat down the winners and then build up the losers.

Everyone says they want to be the best but the whole world is busy telling you you’re OK just the way you are.

Here it is in a single sentence for you:

“You’re enough… but you’re nowhere near good enough.”

You heard it here first.

A consultant in your network might need to read this today…
