Day 743: My 100K Sentence

Yesterday I was explaining how skill, drive, and focus need friction removed as well as how Dangerous Dave paid it backward in the drive thru line.

Speaking of Dangerous Dave ripping off the person behind him…

Truth is, Dave’s a tad messed up cause his Dad applied too much pressure when he was younger, here’s an example:

Dangerous Dave: We were on a flight across the country when a flight attendant announced ‘Is there a doctor on board?’

Dangerous Dave’s Dad: *nudging Dave* that should’ve been you.

Dangerous Dave: Not now Dad.

Dangerous Dave’s Dad: Not asking for a graphic designer to help, are they?

Dangerous Dave:  Dad there’s a medical emergency happening right now.

Dangerous Dave’s Dad: Why don’t you save him as a PDF and see if that helps.

Narcissism is often mistaken for ‘male confidence’ by those who lack ‘male confidence’.

Andrew Tate is an example of what men with no self-worth think high self-worth looks like.

Concentrate on who and what you are versus what you have.



‘How I Closed $100,000 Coaching Clients’

Over a decade ago I consistently closed my $100,000 business coaching programs with one simple question…

Including clients you’d assume couldn’t afford a 100k coaching program.

Here’s what I would say when it was time to close.

“Can you finish this sentence for me please:

I would work with you Karl, to build my business if…”

The answer they gave me is what I needed to do if I wanted to get the deal done.

Here’s an example of sitting with a dentist and closing one of my $100,000 coaching programs:

“Tom, this has been great. You’ve given me so much information and I’m blown away at the profitable opportunities we’ll be able to capitalize on once we get started.

Prior to moving any further I’d like to make sure we’re on the same page.

Can you finish this sentence for me please… I would work with you Karl, to build my business if …”

*critical that I was silent and let them answer, fully, while diligently taking notes on what they say*

They answered as I LISTENED INTENTLY… then I’d pause and ask in a confident manner.

“Is there anything else?”

*Listened intently, took notes*

“Great… OK to ensure we’re both on the same page, you would work with me if I can provide

*Repeating as close to word-for-word as I could what they had just said* ABC and

123… is this right?”

“Is there anything else?”


“OK Tom, I’m going to take a flyer here and you have yourself a deal… let’s do this and I’m excited to watch you and your business/marketing soar to new profitable heights.”

*I’d reach out and shake their hand while saying, Congratulations*

“Let’s get this paperwork done and get started building the business you’ve been dreaming about.”

*Fill out paperwork and asked for their credit card number*

Try it.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
