Last week we covered a lot of ground, including how AI is making waves in the business coaching world as well as how Dangerous Dave’s bank manager called… he wants his calendar back.
Speaking of my Drunk Aunt who thought her husband became a weatherman when she found multiple texts that said ‘the coast is clear’:
Here’s a conversation with her over the weekend:
My Drunk Aunt: My son is great.
Wifey: I agree he is… curious why do you say that?
Drunk Aunt: Well when his friends come over after school, they always spray the house with air freshener just before I get home.
*awkward silence*

‘Random AI Thoughts’
We’re currently in the process of integrating Artificial Intelligence into our Business Coaching software… not for the faint of heart *cough cough*.
It’s a MEAN MEAN animal, but luckily, we have a dedicated staff of 36 that allows it to happen, as well as a workforce of interns overseas.
Here are some random thoughts/findings:
– Artificial intelligence feels like a recent phenomenon, but Arthur Samuel developed the first machine learning program in 1959
– Artificial intelligence (AI) is simply a computer system performing tasks that would normally require human intelligence. Examples: Learning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
– If you’re still in the sandbox of AI… Machine Learning would be a better thing to study/learn. ML is like the motor behind the AI vehicle.
– Healthcare: AI is already being used for early detection of disease, predicting disease outbreaks, analyzing medical images, and developing personalized treatment plans.
– Finance: AI is being used for fraud detection, credit scoring, risk management, algorithmic trading, and portfolio management.
– Marketing: AI can be used for chatbots to reply and converse with, customer segmentation, predictive analytics, personalized advertising, and customer experience optimization.
– Transportation: AI is being used for autonomous vehicles, traffic prediction, route optimization, and fleet management.
– Customer Service: AI is used in customer service for chatbots, voice assistants, and virtual agents to handle predictable customer queries and complaints.
– Education: AI is used in education for personalized learning, student engagement, and automated grading.
