Tiger Woods Part 2 (Redemption and Being Young, Rich and Crazy)
Here I’m going to tell you a little about a new stripper friend, the hardest hockey hit I ever endured and open up a little about being homeless… but ending up young, rich and a little crazy.
Last week I posted about celebrating Tiger’s win and what some would call redemption.
Never have I witnessed such a polarizing set of responses.
Lots loved it and told me so… and many (men and women) responded with how dare I support and celebrate a cheater and such a horrible man?!
My response back… Who the hell… do you think you are to tell me what to think and say??
Thanks just the same, Snowflake.
Tiger cheated on his wife.
Horrific decision and one I would never support. Nor did I support it by celebrating his win.
Tiger lost
- Tiger lost the respect of his Mother.
- Tiger lost his family.
- Tiger lost time with his children.
- Tiger lost the respect of his children.
- Tiger lost his home.
- Tiger lost his dignity.
- Tiger lost his career.
- Tiger lost his endorsements.
- Tiger lost the heart of his fans.
He also lost some golf clubs when his wife beat them against his locked SUV before the police arrived to arrest him haha.
He subsequently went from number one in the world too, hitting a golf ball like a Sunday hack.
Eleven long years later…. He made it back to where he longed to be.
They’ll refer to this in psychology books for the next 100 years.
He learned a valuable and much-needed lesson and appears to have been a role model citizen ever since.
Here’s what you may or may not know about me
I was, and probably still am in many ways, a bit of a lunatic.
My business partner for nine years in my younger days, Ross Fisher, would likely refer to me as moderately crazy. In fact, I know he would LOL
My business partner now and has been for ten years… Adrian Ulsh would probably say something similar even though I’m a dedicated family man in my mid-forties. My neighbors would say… “that boy likes to have a good time.”My closest friends would say… “he’s crazy.”
My wife… “why do you have to act so crazy all the time?!”
I’ve had professional speaking events with rooms full of professionals listening to my talks… I’ve played important hockey games with World Championship and National medals on the line…
Important occasions like these normally lead me to the sheets nice and early so I wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Slipped up more than a few times where I had a few too many pops and a little less sleep than otherwise ideal.
Performed like a rock star on occasion and other times not so much.
Each time it was stupid.
But I was being me. I don’t need alcohol I just enjoy a drink and like to have a good time. Dan Kennedy, Gary Vaynerchuk, Tony Robbins, etc… are unapologetically themselves.
So am I.
I’m short and loud.
I think they refer to it as Little Man Syndrome?
Reality is I came from nothing…
My big brother was an elite skier that committed suicide when I was 16 years old over a business failing. It was a tough thing to deal with while going through puberty. I put myself under a lot of pressure afterward feeling the need to live and accomplish for two.
My beautiful Mom lived the rest of her days with a broken heart and literally drank herself to death as punishment.
My family home burnt down and I, therefore, have 6 pictures from my entire childhood and no drawings, school projects, etc. About 100 hockey and BMX trophies disappeared.
I know all the gurus say it and half the time it’s a lie… but in my 20’s I was living overseas and ended up homeless and lived out of my car and the back of Steve Watts hockey shop.
I showered at the local gym for $2. Was humiliating, to put it mildly, and my life was a total mess.
The good news…
Once I got my mental game in order and decided definitively WHAT I WANTED… I was dangerous.
My Dad often says “Kid, you made chicken salad out of chicken shit.”
I turned it around in record time and was fortunate enough to have become young and rich.
Truth is I was young, rich AND a little crazy.
An interesting combo.
And don’t pretend you don’t like me blonde…
By the age of 35, I ‘d already…
Bought a one-million-dollar house with an ocean view in one of the most expensive cities in the world, Vancouver. I still own and rent it.
Created, structured, sold and banked my first $500,000 business coaching deal.
Bought a watch that was more expensive than most of my friend’s cars.
Owned my dream convertible sports car.
Franchised my own company.
Hockey and all the fun stuff that goes with it had been my living for almost ten years.
Many would say I accomplished a lot career-wise pre the age of 35 but it would also be safe to say I did some impressively stupid things.
On the way to a kids hockey camp, we rolled a car… I woke up 20 feet from the car covered in dirt and lucky to be alive.
The front page of the newspaper the next day read:
“Hockey Coaches Roll Into Town…”
My crazy buddies and I have started more than a few bar fights and thankfully I outran every bouncer that ever chased me down the road.
Except one.
BTW… thanks, Muscles. And I still can’t breathe out of my left nostril.
Playing hockey in the National Championships one year I partied like a rock star until a little past 6 am. It may or may not have included relations with an attractive girl that removed her clothes on stage for a living… Ha Ha. Wasn’t my most impressive moment given I was assistant captain of my hockey team.
The next day, I’m pretty sure I was still thinking about my attractive new friend when I made the ghastly error of enthusiastically going into the corner with Rod Brindamour’s angry 6’5” barrel-chested brother.
He moved around the rink like a large cheetah… checked me so hard my shoulders touched and I couldn’t remember my name for two weeks.
I could well and truly go on.
Anyhoo….
Would my Mom have been concerned with some of my antics?
Yup.
Reality is…. I was young and it was a hoot. I’ve learned and grown so much I hardly remember that guy.
Now that I think about it… maybe the angry Brindamour hit was worse than I thought??
I am not my past and you are not yours.
Neither is Tiger.
Maybe I identify at a higher level with Tiger for that reason?
I just dunno…
But I do know that Tiger made some mistakes… and paid a heavy price.
And then made a historic comeback.
Maybe it’s time for your redemption tour…?
I was inspired by Tiger Woods’ dedication to his craft when he won at The Masters.
I promise to inspire you with my dedication to the craft of Business Coaching and my understanding of helping your small business clients profit wildly from your services and your high-end coaching fees.
That’s what business coaching is about.
It’s NOT about your ability to “find clients” or “generate leads”… like all the guru’s plaster in front of you.
It’s about your ability to genuinely help your coaching clients.
Today I’m once again working on the new 2.0 version of my business coaching software which provides game-changing profit acceleration for small business owners…
The deliverable is a step by step roadmap to close high-end coaching clients and more importantly place money in your client’s bank account in record time.
Imagine no longer having to worry about your prospective client saying “I’d love to work with you but I just can’t afford your coaching right now…”
Your fees will come out of the impressive profits my software automatically generates your coaching client.
If completing it doesn’t kill me from sleep deprivation… it’ll most definitely make a monster dent in the small business universe.
Here’s to being young, rich and crazy!
Maybe just crazy.
They tell me its entertaining
What’s my name again?!?
Obsessed with your business coaching success,
Karl Bryan
PS. I can find any small business owner $100,000 in 45 minutes without them spending an extra dollar on marketing or advertising.
I built software to do the heavy lifting for you.
I’m not successful just because I drive traffic and know “how to generate small business leads” like clockwork… we do that but the real reason I’m successful is that I CREATE successful business coaches like you that make six-figure and multiple six-figure incomes at home in their pajamas.
I may pull back the curtain and do some LIVE TRAINING soon?
What, say you??
Wanna attend?

PPS. She wasn’t attractive, she was smoking HOT!
