Yesterday I was explaining how Principle based marketing will bring in higher level coaching prospects than tactical based as well as why Dave didn’t clean or do the dishes while his girlfriend was away. In the name of romance.

Speaking of how she now knows he can’t live without her…

Dave was in an altercation and The Police came knocking at his door… here’s the conversation:

Police: Knock, Knock.

Dangerous Dave: Who’s there?

Police: It’s The Police

Dangerous Dave: What do you want?

Police: We just want to talk.

Dangerous Dave: How many of you are there?

Police: Four.

Dangerous Dave: Then talk to each other.

 *silence*

An apple a day keeps the doctor away… it’s not ‘If you forget then eat seven apples on Sunday.’

Anyhoo…

Your one PROFIT ACCELERATION THING today is:

‘Consistency over Intensity on Social’

Much like an apple a day, a common mistake business coaches make on social is their lack of consistency.

Getting fired up mid-week and inundating followers and then disappearing until the next jolt of enthusiasm.

A good framework is once a day and twice a day is better than once.

I hear you ask:

How often should I post?

How often is too often?

That’s the wrong question…. what’s critically important is that you have something

valuable to say.

Is this valuable and helpful to my ideal client?

If the answer is yes, post it and learn as you go.

Remember, there are only two forms on value online:

Entertainment

Education

Now think long term and get strategic.

Grab a pen and paper (iPad) and write down a list of 14 posts you’re going to make over the next 7 – 14 days.

When you see something cool you want to share / post… document it in your “Social Media Posts” file rather than sporadically post or accidentally forget about it.

I repeat…

Have something valuable to say to your ideal client and then say it.

Consistently.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
