Day 1174: I Need To Ask My Spouse…

Yesterday I was explaining the importance of counting ‘nightmares avoided’ as forward progress in your client’s business (reason your FB team punts on 4th and 1 rather than go for it) as well as what Dave said when they were having pillow talk and she said ‘tell me those three magic words.’

Speaking of it’s my fault…

My Drunk Aunts son, Dick, was having a conversation with his Dad and here’s how it went:

Dick: Dad, did you go to the same school as me?

Dad: Yes, the same school as you only 25 years ago.

Dad: Why do you ask?

Dick: Well, Mrs. Johnson said today that she hasn’t seen an idiot like me in 25 years.

Anyhoo…

Your one PROFIT ACCELERATION THING today is:

‘Closing’

The issue is not that ‘nobody has any money.’

I’ve sold $100,000 coaching programs to people who didn’t do $100,000 gross revenues the previous year.

We have current coaches that pay us over $250,000 per year in profit sharing and they started at $200.

When you’re closing a client and you hear:

“I need to speak to my spouse…”

“Let me think about it…”

Etc…

They don’t need to speak to their spouse nor think about it…

… they’re NOT CONVINCED.

More specifically, their problem is not big enough or you didn’t present yourself and your program in a way that solves their problem(s).

You do that by asking the right questions in the right order (my business coaching software, cough cough) and that’s how you make their problem BIGGER.

The other problem is they don’t feel your solution / offer closes their gap.

Refine your Q and A process and the presentation of your offer.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
