Dave’s Girlfriend: We went to a Chinese restaurant last night and all I can tell you is these tariffs are getting really really serious.

Wifey: How so.

Dave’s Girlfriend: China appears to be retaliating by putting worse fortunes in their cookies!

Wifey: What do you mean?

Dave’s Girlfriend: Dave opened his Fortune Cookie and it said, ‘your baseball team is unlikely to make the playoffs’ and mine said, ‘you will not go very far in your life.’

I said this on my podcast when I was asked about overcoming obstacles to achieve a goal (the goal was filling weekly workshops):

If you want to make the obstacle smaller / easier to overcome… simply make your goal much BIGGER.

Example: trying to get ten ppl per week to your workshop can be daunting.

BUT

A legitimate goal of: Elevating the level of consciousness for your local entrepreneurs and legitimately stopping business failure in its tracks by teaching all your local business owners the power of PROFIT over revenue…

… would possibly make filing your room with ten ppl a little less monumental.

Not to mention that’s a message the local accountant / JV will get behind!
