Day 107: Bezos, Donations and Handling Criticism 

Yesterday I gave you a list of what it takes to create happiness and a successful business. 

I should have included avoiding the media. 

American, Jeff Bezos donated $1 million dollars to the Australian bushfires and he gets torn apart cause people, who donated nothing, look at his net worth and decide it’s not enough.

The message folks is not to become wealthy cause nothing you’ll ever do is good enough. 

And we wonder why people sabotage their success. 

Anyhoo…. 

One Stream of income

My reality is that I express myself here, online and on my Podcast in a way that invites a little criticism. 

I’m not stupid, I know what I set myself up for when I’m a smart arse and I do read the many abusive emails and messages sent my way. 

I’m also not capable of being a Muppet that reads a headline and just believes it. That’s the epitome of stupidity. 

Recently I wrote something that said ‘unless you’re worth $10 million… multiple streams of income is a stupid idea.’ 

A guy took the time to send me an abusive reply with ten separate articles that explained what a great idea ‘multiple streams of income’ are.

I estimated the combined net worth of the ten different authors of the articles to be about $250,000.

Ya, that’s $25k of net worth each. 

Of course, we should listen to them when Bezos, Zuckerberg, Buffett, Gates, Dell built ONE STREAM of really really good income and encourage others to do the same. 

Moral of the story is from a previous post… do ONE STREAM OF INCOME insanely well.

And please don’t just read what I say and agree… look around and find me a SINGLE PERSON you know, that isn’t already wealthy via one stream of income, doing ‘multiple streams of income’ successfully.   

Told ya so…

If you wouldn’t seek out someone’s advice… don’t worry about their criticism.
