Yesterday, I was talking about getting all teary-eyed while watching American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. I’m also embarrassed to say I’m a Bachelorette fan.

Anyhoo….
Today’s ONE THING is that the small things matter…. Speaking to 3 business owners per day can (will) positively change your life.
And more importantly the lives of your many future high-end coaching clients that follow.
I don’t know who’s responsible for this quote, but its PURE GOLD.

I dare say that it’s particularly relevant in the coaching space.
The coach plans to earn $500,000 per annum in year one but doesn’t want to help anyone prior to getting paid full fees.
Apparently, “Otherwise they’re just not fully committed…”
I met a new coach awhile back and he said to me “I want to increase the level of consciousness of the business world…”
But he didn’t want to call anyone because he’s not very good on the phone.
Alllrighttyyy thhennn…… (said in my best possible Ace Ventura voice).
Send direct messages or pick up the phone and help three business owners today and every day with zero expectations of getting paid.
Do it to help them, like you would a loved one, and because they desperately need the direction. It’s not an accident that 90% of businesses fail. There’s a reason and LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY and LACK OF DIRECTION are those reasons.
The path to your money will magically appear if you make those calls.

PS. If you’re just starting out and don’t know what to do with those 3 daily calls and need clients… then do this.
Within 5 minutes of where you’re now sitting there’s a local newspaper / magazine with lots of advertising (plus online directories, billboards, signs, websites and a million other bits of local marketing).
It’s FILLED with ads that are a waste of time and money. They’re blown up business cards with no headline, no deadline, no call to action and nothing compelling about them.
Call and say ‘I saw your ad in the local newspaper… I don’t even need to ask you if its working… cause that advertisement was never going to work… just wanted to let you know the money is being lit on fire and please allocate your advertising money to taking your kids to Disneyland.

*Ideally (think ‘story you tell them’) you should let me train you on how to find any small business owner $100,000 in 45 minutes without them spending an extra dollar on marketing or advertising.
