Speaking of things in fast forward my daughter just turned 8 and she loves my lame Knock Knock jokes…
She ‘Boo’s’ my jokes if they’re no good.
A surprisingly common experience for such a funny guy.

She liked this one even though I’m not convinced she understood it LOL.

‘The Death of The Economy’
I used to race BMX at a decent level as a kid… I once won a trophy at Provincials that was almost as tall as I was.
I was never very tall but I figured that was an impressive feat.
*I also once lost a BMX race to a guy with one leg*
I digress…
I got the brilliant idea to buy myself a downhill mountain bike to ride on the local mountains and trails.
My wife is convinced it’ll end badly.
I’m more optimistic.
Got me thinking and I had spoken about this recently on my podcast… how bicycles would be the death of the economy.
Someone that rides a bike…
Doesn’t need to buy a $50,000 car
Doesn’t need financing
Doesn’t need insurance
Doesn’t need fuel
Doesn’t need costly repairs and servicing
Doesn’t need paid parking
Doesn’t need multilane highways
Doesn’t get into costly accidents
Plus there are further order consequences….
Doesn’t get out of shape
Doesn’t get fat
Doesn’t get unhealthy
Doesn’t need drugs of all shapes and sizes for every disorder imaginable
Doesn’t need regular doctor visits
This is all terrible for the economy…
However, when the new fast-food restaurant opens up:
25 new jobs
Work for dentists
Work for doctors
Work for psychologists
Money for drug companies
And the list goes on and on…
If you were wondering why the local bike path hasn’t been completed… you might now know why.
After reading the above…
Take a view ‘of the entire playing field’ and tell me why we have the traditions we do, for:
Christmas
Birthdays
Anniversaries
Valentines Day
Mothers Day
Fathers Day
Wedding Day
Hmmmm….
Some retail therapy, Anyone… Anyone (Ferris Bueller).
Question:
Do your clients celebrate their company birthday, anniversary, 4th of July, Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, etc…?
Probably not…
Help them do their bit for the economy.
They’ll sleep better knowing they did.
