Day 567: Three Little Words…

 

Yesterday I was explaining the technique I used when a coaching client found her husband in bed with a younger woman having hot steamy sex.

Speaking of things that make people unsubscribe…

A bad storm hit last week and blew my neighbor’s roof off.

Poor guy doesn’t have insurance so I started a GoFundMe page to raise funds for a trip to Cancun.

I’d hate to be around that kind of construction noise so I need to get away.

In other news…

The problem last night was not that they couldn’t sleep.

The problem is that they started their day with too much caffeine. They didn’t

workout, they didn’t provide their body with enough nutrition, they’re stressed about future events and, therefore weren’t present and they finished the day with alcohol.

That’s why they can’t sleep.

Anyhoo…

Your One PROFIT ACCELERATION THING Today Is:

‘What’s the Number One Thing You’ve Learned as a Business Coach?’

When you get asked this, or a similar, question…

… what do you say?

You should have a good answer ready.

Even if you don’t get asked…

… you should answer with it anyway (politicians are famous for this).

Answers like these:

Decide what you want and clearly define it.

Understand the fundamentals like time management, goal setting and commit to them.

Write down what you want to accomplish and resign yourself to paying the price to achieve it.

Etc…

Would you agree these are the answers you hear all the time, they cover the fundamentals… but is this the best we can do?

What I’d recommend is that you learn to deliver them in a powerful and entertaining story, example and / or with a series of metaphors.

Cadence, dramatic pause, voice inflictions littered throughout.

Bottom line…

When you answer this question:

Be ready

Be entertaining

Be a little dramatic (listen to Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn etc… tell a story)

Be present

Be knowledgeable

Teach the person / people listening something they hadn’t heard before

Translation:

‘If you want to be remembered… stop being so bloody boring and predictable.’
