Speaking of restraint…

I walked into a pawn shop yesterday and here’s my conversation with the guy that runs it.

Me: Have any radios?

Pawn Shop Owner: I have one radio for sale, only $1, the volume is stuck on full.

Me: I can’t turn that down.

Me: Anything else for sale?

Pawn Shop Owner: TV for sale.

Only one person has watched it.

Me: *I am absolutely loving this place*

In other news…

‘Rebound Effect’

Here’s something on my mind and it’s not mid 40 year olds working Tinder 4 hours

per day that have just split up with their spouses.

Rebounding happens when technology increases the efficiency with which a

resource is used…

In an ironic twist, it then increases that same resource consumption due to an

increase in its demand.



Fuel efficiency improvements in your car made driving it cheaper… you then used

the savings from the gas to buy a bigger gas guzzling car.

Back in the day combustion engines solved the environmental issue of horse

manure… but we created problems of air pollution and green house gas emissions.

How does this relate to your high end coaching clients..?

Email makes it more efficient for them to communicate… they now communicate 100

times more than they used to.

Their cell phone makes it easier for them to communicate… they now use it to communicate 100 times more than they used to.

Facebook and social media make it easier for them to communicate… they now use it to communicate 100 times more than they used to.

They all compound making it challenging to get anything done cause they’re always busy communicating.

If aliens were looking down on us…

They’d be confused.

Help your clients get their communication under control.
