Last week we covered a lot of ground including the question of ‘if your government can just print money why do you pay taxes…’ as well as how jogging helps my Drunk Aunt with her ability to make decisions.
Speaking of deciding to never jog again…
Wifey is upset.
She joined the local gym, been paying full fees for 5 straight months, and still absolutely no progress.
She is going down there in person tomorrow to work out what’s really going on.

My daughter is playing roller hockey.
Ice hockey on rollerblades.
In its heyday and when I was playing it was touted as the fastest growing sport in the world.
I played for Team Canada 5 times at the World Championships and it’s kinda wild that she’s playing the same sport that I did.
I remember winning a silver medal many years ago and throwing it in the garbage.
Safe to say that I was an overly competitive jackarse that didn’t quite get it.
When my daughter plays, I rarely miss watching anything, tennis, track, gymnastics, parkour, trampolining etc… I’m there.
She won gold in the long jump the other day and said to me:
“Dad, they weren’t going to put me in cause they thought I was too short HAHA”
My message today is this:
Prior to any competition she enters, here’s my message to her:
“I’m not here to watch you win… I’m here to watch you play.”
That’s profound to me.
The magic is the game never ends.
Until it ENDS.
